On Thanksgiving Day, Alana and I found it was the perfect opportunity to explore LA as there was no traffic, which is just unheard of in the city! We started our day with an acai bowl from Juice Crafters (best of the best for acai bowls) before heading to Melrose Avenue to hit some of the iconic walls and wander the streets. There was such a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the air, similar to the feeling on Christmas Day.
A sparkle statement is always a good idea but it felt even more appropriate, as it was a Holiday. I love this old season All Saints embellished skirt. I miss the good old days when All Saints collections included the most amazing sequin pieces, bring it back! I’ve collected their embellished pieces over the years, which I will never get rid of because they are so versatile and timeless. If you are looking to purchase some second hand embellished pieces which really have the wow factor, I recommend going to a vintage store or checking out Vestiaire Collective for high street and designer embellsihed pieces!
For Thanksgiving Dinner, we booked the London Hotel in West Hollywood where we had the most delicious 3 course meal before heading back to our hotel to chill and watch movies. We definitely experienced a great Thanksgiving in the States, next time will maybe be spent my all my American fam!
