LA LA LAND

H&M DRESS (IN STORE) | PULL & BEAR SANDALS (SIMILAR HERE) | GUCCI SOHO DISCO BAG | DIOR TECHNOLOGIC SUNGLASSES

After settling into Cali life and finding my bearings, the first destination on my hit list was Melrose Avenue for obvious reasons. This street is blogger heaven with endless chic shopping locations like Nasty Gal, Urban Outfitters, Dash and Isabel Marant. There are also loads of cute boutiques which I can't wait to venture into - one of kind pieces...check!

Nasty Gal shoe heaven!

This street is notoriously known as a bloggers dream - does the Paul Smith pink wall ring any bells? There were queues of people in the coolest street style looks with their photographers ready to snap their pics. It might seem strange to some, but finding the perfect backdrop is so important when blogging and Melrose Avenue has blocks worth of them. One of my favourites is the MADE in LA wall.

The Grove is another hot shop stop. It has the most beautiful outdoor area where you walk from shop to shop. There is also the cutest farmers market serving up food from almost anywhere in the world - from fresh fish to fresh fruit, there's everything. Here you can shop Topshop, Zara, Nordstrom (favourite department store!), Sephora and Paige (for all the best denims!).

I'm starting to get used to day dresses and sandals as this is the new normal for me. It's a thousand times better than heavy jackets and jeans to brave the wind and rain in Scotland! I picked this little dress up in H&M last week. H&M is either a hit or a miss and in this case a hit! I love the black on pink paisley print and the bell selves. Looks like pink will be sticking around for A/W 16 - who else is excited?!
