In the last couple of years, I've really started to understand how important it is to look after your skin. After suffering from mild acne when I was an early teen, my goal was to have flawless looking skin. I now have a daily routine which I follow strictly without hesitation. There's nothing better than taking your make up off and having a fresh face for bed! Wearing make up to bed is seriously bad for your skin. This is a no go for me!
ST IVES APRICOT SCRUB
BEFINE LIP SCRUB & SERUM
Before bed, I use St Ives Apricot Scrub on my face, neck & chest. After reading that this was one of flawless, Gigi Hadid's favourite products, I was desperate to try it out! This blemish fighting scrub is suggested to be used 3-4 times a week, however I felt like this was not enough. I like to use it every night as it makes my skin feel clean and smooth.
For me, looking after my lips is just as important. As you all know, I suffer from dry lips all year round. So, by chance I found the Befine Lip Exfoliator with oat protein and pineapple & the Lip Serum with chamomile and beets in TK Maxx and it worked a charm! I like to use this 3 times a week to make my lips soft and lipstick ready!
LIZ EARLE INSTANT BOOST SKIN TONIC & SKIN REPAIR MOISTURISER
I've used Liz Earle products for a while now and the products below are now staples in my daily routine. After exfoliation, I use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic toner. This brightens and hydrates my skin as well as catching any missed make up or dirt still on the surface. Following the toner, I use the Skin Repair Moisturiser for Normal/Combination skin. Often, I find moisturisers oily and heavy on but this softens my skin without the after shine!
SILVER SERUM
So, we all get occasional break outs and I like to have back up to treat them properly. To reduce these break outs I try not to touch my face because I truly believe this spreads the bacteria which equals more break outs. I prefer to apply this Silver Serum all of over or to problem areas after moisturising. Normally, I would use Retinol Reform by Shani Darden which is my all time favourite skin product. Pricey, but the results are totally worth it I think! I've recently ran out of this magical mixture, but another bottle is on the way!
