Almost every year one of my New Year's resolution is to eat healthier however this year is slightly different as I am focusing on having a healthier lifestyle overall. Basically, this year I will maintain my healthy eating as I started the year by being mindful of how foods/drinks make me feel. 10 days in and I'm still going strong! I wanted to share some of the recipes I've been trying over the past week. It's all about putting in the effort and time to prepare fresh meals. 

A great quote I found on Pinterest which really opened my eyes said:

"Every 35 days your skin replaces itself. Your liver, about a month. Your body makes these new cells from the food you eat. What you eat literally becomes you. You have a choice in what you're made of. Eat wisely.
